Musical life in Kiev: Ludovico Einaudi, Brit Floyd (Pink Floyd tribute band) and hits of the 20th century, at the Philharmonic.

The last days have been very saturated in the musical life of Kiev.
22/09 - Ludovico Einaudi - The best
24/09 - Brit Floyd - The best from Pink Floyd.
25/09 - National Academic Brass Band of Ukraine - "The hits of 20th century".
Now some more detail about all of these events.

DAY 1. LUDOVICO EINAUDI

Ludovico played in National Opera of Ukraine. I had hoped that as well as in Moscow and St. Petersburg, in Kiev he will play with a symphony orchestra. But no. He played amazing. Had been created a magic, tender atmosphere. But part of his music has a very primitive form (without a bad context). So I was hoping that there will be a symphony orchestra, which would have filled the void.
Overall, it was nice, but boring.

DAY 2. BRIT FLOYD

Brit Floyd is a tribute band, which plays a songs of the Pink Floyd. I really love the Pink Floyd, and was skeptical of this concert. Reality has surpassed all of my expectations. It was totally amazing! Fantastic show! Fantastic music, fantastic light. Often I had impression that on scene plays the original band. The concert lasted 3 hours. During this time, the musicians performed favorite songs from albums: "Animals", "The Dark Side Of The Moon", "The Wall", "Wish You Were Here" and "The Division Bell".

Of course there were mismatches in their performance. But they were few. All in all, Brit Floyd did a great job. The audience of Kiev thankful for the amazing show and requests again and again visit our city.
Thank you guys!

DAY 3: THE HITS OF 20th CENTURY

National Academic Brass Band of Ukraine has played the hits of 20th century. The program included: medley on Led Zeppelin, Queen, Beatles, Boney M and Brian Adams. Also performed: Scorpion "Hurricane", Joe Cocker "You Can Leave Your Hat On", Michael Jackson "Thriller", Deep Purple "Smoke On The Water", several songs from "Some Like It Hot" and some jazz standards. Overall everything was fine, except that the "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin was played two times faster than the original. I'd like to visit this concert again and to listen only Led Zeppelin or Queen covers.

EPILOGUE

These three days was one of the most beautiful days in my musical life and I hope, that I'll never forget them. I wish you get the same bright impressions if you visit one of these concerts.
